Product trial - I am testing out these cords as a new product for my shop! I have been using them for my own projects but I want to offer some sets at a discounted price for others to test out. Some colours may not be as good as others, or the cords may not work as well on certain needles (ie. metal vs wood), so I am hoping to receive some feedback from you if you purchase a set. With the feedback from these trial sets, I can decide which are the best options to offer and provide good tips for future customers for what size/material needles work well with the cords!

Use these knit keeper/extension cords to try on your knitting as you work on a garment, or to easily place your knitting on hold to use the needles for another project! Simply stick the needle point into the end of the cord, and slide your stitches onto the cord!

I recommend pushing the cord quite firmly onto your needle tip to make sure it doesn't pop off, and not yanking too hard while they are attached so you don't risk losing some stitches.
Note: The cords should stay on the needles fairly well, but the grip of the cord may vary depending on size of needle tips and type of needles (ex. wood vs metal).

This listing has a few different options for size, colour and length.

Small cord - fits up to US 8/9 or 5/5.5mm (larger sizes may still work but the connection might not be as secure)

available in:

100" lengths - light pink, light blue, light purple and turquoise

40" lengths - miscellaneous colours (you will receive one of the colours pictured in the photo of many colours together)

Medium cord - fits up to US 10.5/11 or 6.5/8mm (larger sizes may still work but the connection might not be as secure)

available in:

100" lengths - bright pink

You can cut the long lengths of cord into whatever smaller lengths you wish, or write a note at checkout if you would like me to cut them for you!

I usually use a 40-60" cord for putting body stitches of a garment on hold to try on, and a 20-30" cord for sleeve stitches!
